Kids Win MO Wants to Hear from Parents re: Children's Health

The following is a message from Kids Win Missouri:

Help Us Reach Parents to Understand Concerns & Challenges around Their Children's Health

We are currently working to develop our policy priorities for the 2022 legislative session. We want to acknowledge and be conscious of the demanding issues and challenges facing parents throughout Missouri.

On behalf of the Cover Our Kids Coalition (Kids Win Missouri, Missouri Budget Project, and Missouri Coalition of Children's Agencies), Kids Win Missouri invites parents to join us for an hour-long conversation around children's health issues. The group discussion will cover many aspects of children's health, including insurance coverage, access to health care in your community, health and mental health concerns, and any impact COVID has had on your child or family's health. There will be 9 opportunities to attend a parent conversation on Zoom during the month of July. Each participant will be asked to participate in the 1-hour discussion and complete a short survey.

Parents will receive a $20 Amazon gift card for their participation.

From these conversations, a report will be shared with our stakeholders, legislators and other decision-makers to educate them and tell the story of what families are experiencing in Missouri.

Please share with other parents and register today. View the full schedule below.

How Partners Can Help!

We would love for our partners to help us reach parents throughout the state. Our goal is to talk with a truly representative sample of parents who reflect the racial, geographic, and socioeconomic diversity of our state, as well as parents of children with differing needs, including children with special needs and children in the foster and adoptive system.

Please share the information above in your network, or use this link to direct parents to the page where they can sign up for a session. Parent feedback will help ensure that the policies we work on in Jefferson City meet the needs of the communities we serve. Thank you for your help in this!

If you have any questions, contact Casey at chanson@kidswinmissouri.org.
