Salvation Army has socks available for homeless persons

Salvation Army has a wonderful resource opportunity to share with homeless services and homeless persons in Missouri.  It has received an unexpectedly large donation of "Bombas" socks.  The socks are reportedly a very high durability/quality.   The socks are ankle and calf length in sizes extra small, small, medium, and large and reportedly run to size.  There are 250 socks per carton, each carton full of one adult size, and 12 cartons on a pallet.  Bombas prefers the socks to be used for persons who homeless rather than any other population.  Loaves & Fishes may be able to arrange for their partner to make a single delivery of these to their warehouse in St. Louis and agencies can then pick them requested socks from their warehouse at one time.

Contact Jacki MacIntosh, jacki@loavesandfishes-stl.org, Executive Director of Loaves & Fishes, if you know your Continuum of Care (CoC) members'  interest in receiving these socks, a numbers and sizes request, and your local CoC agencies' efforts to help receive these goods that will be extremely valuable to your homeless clients.  Other than picking up these socks and distributing them to persons who are homeless, agencies' only responsibility will be to collect some anecdotal benefit stories.   https://bombas.com/
