Save to CalendarAs helping professions, we are aware of the need for self-care, given the work we do and the impact we experience regarding compassion fatigue, potential for burnout and exposure to vicarious traumatic stress. We’re read the articles, attended the conference sessions, and even encourage our colleagues and peers to engage in their own self-care. Yet when it comes time for our personal self-care, there seems to be a disconnect between what we know and what we actually do. In this session, participants work on infusing the science of self-care into personal implementation.
This training for early childhood educators will be provided by Tina Mosley, and is sponsored by Alive and Well Communities.
