If you are in crisis and need assistance with your summer cooling bills, you now have until October 31, 2020 to apply for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). This allows low-income Missourians more time to apply for the summer cooling program and remain safe in their homes.
The Department of Social Services also increased the income level for Missourians to qualify for help and added the option to apply online.
