PreventEd Free Training: Medication + Peer Support

Effectively treating people with substance use disorder requires that we increase access to evidence-based programs such as Medication Assisted Therapy. (MAT). MAT is a comprehensive approach to address the needs of people by offering a combination of therapeutic interventions like counseling and peer support along with medications that are proven to help reduce cravings, lessen withdrawal symptoms and lower the chance of an overdose. This approach has been proven to significantly increase the likelihood of long-term success in recovery. Participants will receive a certificate for 1.5 contact hours. Learn more here.
