Places for People: Skill Building Interventions(free/hybrid)

Introduction of Skill Building Interventions into Community-Based Services.

This presentation focuses on why skill building interventions are necessary in a community-based setting. In order to increase quality of life and level of independence of those living with complex and challenging mental illness, these interventions serve as a gateway to reaching those goals. This presentation aims to educate mental health practitioners on how to identify ADL and IADL deficits as well as how to create and implement interventions that will increase these daily living skills in those individuals served. Behavioral Health and Occupational Therapy professionals who attend may apply for up to 2 CEUs. This event will be a free hybrid(in-person/online) event hosted at Places for People.
