It's Never Too Late to Learn to Read with STL County Library

https://www.slcl.org/mindplay

St. Louis County Library offers adults the opportunity to learn how to read or improve their reading skills through the MindPlay Virtual Reading Coach program. This online, adaptive system creates individualized lesson plans using a unique, three-tiered approach.

SLCL provides a limited number of seats to qualified adult learners who are looking to expand their literacy skills.

To be considered for the program, applicants must successfully complete a phone screening, followed by an in-person interview to review the learning agreement requirements.

Once enrolled in the program, participants will log in and complete at least two hours of assignments each week, for a total of at least eight consecutive weeks. There are a total of 20 seats available on a rolling basis.

Please contact the Adult Literacy Coordinator at rbrooks@slcl.org or by calling 314-994-3300 ext. 2381 for more information.
