Fresh produce at drive-thru pickup events

Thanks to a grant received by Operation Food Search, the drive-thru pickup events at Beyond Housing will be offering a generous amount of fresh produce along with shelf-stable meals and snacks. The fruits and vegetables will be available Saturday, May 23; Tuesday, May 26; and Saturday, May 30. They’ll also be included in the boxes distributed via home deliveries May 22 and 29.
The Saturday distributions on May 23 and 30 take place from 11AM-1PM at the Beyond Housing office, 6506 Wright Way in Pine Lawn. At these events, families can receive 25 diapers for children under age 3. (The child must be present.) Feminine hygiene products are also available.
The food distribution location for Tuesday, May 26, is Beyond Housing’s Pagedale Family Support Center, 1404 Ferguson Ave., from 11AM-1PM.
These distributions are part of a collaborative effort by the Community Impact Network and its partners, working together to provide emergency relief and vital resources during the COVID-19 crisis.
