NSC Response to COVID-19 - An Update to Community Partners

A message from Normandy Schools Collaborative:

As you may know, the Normandy Schools Collaborative, along with other area school districts, will be closed until April 3 to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the coronavirus. Beginning Monday, March 23, we are offering Grab & Go breakfasts and lunches for students in our district. Students can pick up the lunches at their bus stop at a designated time, or they can go to one of our schools between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. This information has been forwarded to families; I have attached a flier to this message for your information.

We are also rolling out plans for virtual/remote student learning, which will begin Wednesday, March 25. Our teachers will get professional development on Monday and Tuesday, with them being ready to work with students remotely on Wednesday.

We have developed a webpage on our website that we are updating regularly. I am working on compiling a page with resources for parents that will also be housed on our website. If you have resources that you would like to share with our families during this crisis, please forward them to me and I will include them on this page.

We want to thank you for your patience and cooperation as we navigate these very unfamiliar waters. Working together, we will get through it.

Sincerely,

Sharifah
